The Associated Vintners Tasting Room & Wine Bar (AV Wine Bar) will function as a pop-up by flipping the concept every season with an ever-changing menu of wine offerings. During the months of August and September, it will focus on trendy canned wines. This summer’s wine in a can focus is perfectly portable for on-the-go adventures, boating, picnicking, and tailgating. The Pacific Northwest produced canned wines available at the AV Wine Bar will include a wide variety of House Wine, Day Drinking by Little Big Town wine spritzers, Ste. Chapelle wine spritzers, as well as a new selection of wine in cans from Sawtooth, Waterbrook, and Browne Family Vineyards.
The AV Wine Bar is in South Lake Union’s Market Hall at 400 Fairview Avenue North in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. Associated Vintners is owned by Precept Wine, the largest privately-owned wine company in the Northwest. Their portfolio of wines includes renowned brands House Wine, Browne Family Vineyards, Gruet, Waterbrook Winery, Canoe Ridge Vineyard and Cavatappi Winery. This is Precept’s second urban tasting room in Seattle after opening the Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room in historic Pioneer Square in 2018.
“The wines offered at the Associated Vintners Tasting Room & Wine Bar will be ever-changing, allowing us to actively engage with people who already know and love our brands, while also introducing our 2 wines to new consumers,” said Lisa Clarkson, Precept Wine Senior Vice President of Retail Operations and Direct-to-Consumer Sales. “We’ve created a custom-designed experience for consumers, perfectly situated amidst an exciting restaurant scene, in a thriving neighborhood where people work and live.” Visitors will discover something new each visit to the AV Wine Bar: the seasonal focuses planned in the coming months include Pacific Northwest wine brands and a Gruet sparkling wine bar for the holidays. “We’ve found the perfect location for Associated Vintners Tasting Room & Wine Bar to match the energy and innovation within Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood,” states Alex Evans, Chief Marketing Officer of Precept Wine. “We’re focused on wine lovers who are eager to try new things. This will be an excellent proving ground for us to conduct informal focus groups and test new concepts to drive new trends, in real time.” The new tasting room will be open from 11am-8pm Monday through Thursday and 11am-9pm Friday and Saturday.
